Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

MAVORAIQ™ is the operating brand and customer-facing product of AFRO CANNECT INC., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada ("the Service," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using MAVORAIQ, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What MAVORAIQ Is

MAVORAIQ is an opportunity intelligence platform that helps businesses and individuals discover, evaluate, and apply to grants, tax credits, loans, and other funding programs using AI-assisted matching, eligibility scoring, and application support tools (including AI Grant Writer™, AutoApply™, and related features).

MAVORAIQ does not guarantee funding approval. We aggregate and surface publicly available program information and generate AI-assisted eligibility estimates. Final eligibility, approval, and award decisions are made solely by the relevant government agency, foundation, or funding body — not by MAVORAIQ. You are responsible for independently verifying eligibility criteria and reviewing any AI-generated content before submitting it to a funding program.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use MAVORAIQ on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans (currently Pro, Premium and Elite, with additional tiers as introduced) are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout in the currency shown, by AFRO CANNECT INC. operating as MAVORAIQ, and processed via Stripe. Your card statement may show MAVORAIQ or AFRO CANNECT INC. One-time Trade Intelligence purchases (Tariff Exposure Report, Tariff Resilience Audit, Resilience + Funding Strategy) are charged once, not on a recurring basis. To cancel, open the Upgrade page in your account and choose Manage billing, or email support@mavoraiq.com. Prices are as displayed at checkout and may change with notice; existing subscribers are not moved to a new price without their consent except as otherwise stated in these Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refund Policy: First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of their initial subscription purchase, no questions asked. After this initial 7-day window, and for all subscription renewals, payments are non-refundable and we do not refund unused time remaining in a billing period. EU and UK customers: you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital subscription purchase within 14 days under EU/UK consumer protection law, unless you have expressly requested immediate access to the Service and acknowledged the loss of your withdrawal right upon full performance — which you confirm by completing checkout. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund right you hold under the law of your country of residence.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: misrepresent your identity or business information to obtain ineligible matches; use the Service to submit fraudulent applications to any funding program; scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service's data or matching engine without permission; or use the Service in a way that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction.

7. AI-Generated Content

See our AI Disclosure page, incorporated here by reference. AI-generated content (eligibility scores, application drafts, funding intelligence reports) is provided as a starting point and decision-support tool, not as professional, legal, financial, or tax advice. Review all AI-generated content before submitting it anywhere.

8. Intellectual Property

MAVORAIQ, the MAVORAIQ logo, and associated feature names (Funding Score™, AI Grant Writer™, AutoApply™, Opportunity Passport™, and others) are trademarks of Afro Cannect Inc. The Service's underlying software, design, and matching methodology are our proprietary property. You retain ownership of the business/profile information you submit.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, MAVORAIQ disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost funding opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This does not override any non-waivable consumer protection rights you hold under the law of your own country of residence (relevant for EU/UK/Australian consumers under local consumer protection regimes).

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
